Day 1: Delhi - Arrival at Delhi
Welcome to Delhi, the capital of India. You will be received at the
airport and transferred to your hotel. Overnight stay at hotel
situated in the heart of the city.
Day 2: Delhi
Daylong sightseeing tour of Old Delhi (Shahajahanabad) and New Delhi
(Lutyen's Delhi). The tour covers the rich monumental and cultural
heritage that the capital of India is proud of. After sightseeing
you can go shopping.
Overnight at Hotel
Day 3: Delhi - Agra
In the morning leave for Agra by road, en-route visit the Tomb of
Akbar at Sikandara. In the afternoon tour the enthralling city of
the Taj Mahal and savour the myriad attractions that Agra offers.
Day 4: Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur
Leave Agra for Jaipur by road, enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri - an
imperial city built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar. Afternoon
sightseeing tour of the Pink City of Jaipur.
Day 5: Jaipur - Delhi
Morning excursion to the majestic Amber Fort - the ancient capital
of the state until 1728. Ascend and descend the fort on a
gaily-decorated elephant back. Afternoon leave for Delhi by road.
Day 6:
Delhi - Srinagar
Morning leave by air for Srinagar - the summer capital of the state
of Jammu & Kashmir and is the pride of the beautiful valley of
Kashmir. Afternoon visit to the world famous Mughal Gardens. Stay
overnight at hotel.
Day 7: Srinagar - Gulmarg
Full day excursion to Gulmarg, one of the premier hill resorts in
the country. Gulmarg is not merely a mountain resort of exceptional
beauty, it also has the highest green golf course in the world, at
an altitude of 2,650 m, and is the country's premier ski resort in
the winter. Evening back to Srinagar for stay overnight.
Day 8: Srinagar - Delhi
Morning Shikara ride (house-boat) on Dal Lake. Leave Srinagar for
Delhi by air. Upon arrival in Delhi, at leisure until transfer to
the international airport to connect flight to onward destination.
